07.06.08 - Pro Loco Art Competition Create a picture in the parish on the day. Competitors can register at St Matthew's Church Hall, Hayfield from 08:30. The public vote for their favourite paintings in St Matthew's at 16:00. Presentation of the prizes will take place at 17:30. For full details see the Pro Loco page. |

24.06.08 - An Evening Stroll Led By Pete Webb An evening stroll by Pete Webb who will comment on points of interest along the way. Leave from Hayfield Information Centre at 7pm. Free to members. £1 fee for non-members. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Wear strong shoes. |

12.07.08 to 20.07.08 - Well Dressing at Swallow House Well The Hayfield Civic Trust joins the village Well Dressing Festival for the first time this year with a display at the recently conserved Swallow House Well, Swallow House Lane. |

11.10.08 - River Clean Once a year members of the Hayfield Civic Trust turn out in wellies and rubber gloves to clean the stretch of river through the village. Meet at 13:30 by the skip on the Royal Car Park. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. |

22.10.08 - Bugsworth Basin Talk Talk by Ian Edgar about Bugsworth Basin in the Village Hall, Hayfield at 20:00. Admission for non- members £2. Refreshments included. |
